The Income Tax Department has cautioned the Taxpayers regarding the fake news circulation of Income Tax Return (ITR) Due Date Extension. Tax Department via tweeting on its official Twitter handle shared this news.

IT Department wrote, “It has come to our knowledge that a clipping of @sandeshnews is circulating on social media regarding the extension of the date of e-filing of ITR. This is FAKE news. Taxpayers are advised to follow updates from the official website/portal of @IncomeTaxIndia #FactCheck.”
